The Master Gunsmiths at Standard Manufacturing then take the Damascus blocks and make each 1911 individually. The Standard Manufacturing Damascus 1911 requires many labor-intensive hours of polishing stoning and fitting which only the most experienced gunsmiths can accomplish; as such very few gunmakers in the world have the capability or craftsmen to make a gun of this level.
