WHO WE ARE
Founded in June 2019 by Marine Corps veterans Sheridan Halfacre and Thomas Doyle, Rack It Back Armory was born out of a shared passion for firearms and the realization that the market was lacking a competent, transparent, and timely gunsmith. After meeting in gunsmithing school and gaining years of hands-on experience, we saw an opportunity to build a business that not only provided high-quality work but also a trusted space where customers could feel confident and understood. Our humble beginnings started with a small Army communications repair trailer, but after growing steadily over the years, we proudly moved into our larger storefront in October 2022.

Good community based business. Nice people, very helpful.
I had them handle an FFL transfer of a new G30s. They knew I owned another one and this was a back up. He suggested I could leave it for a polish of internal parts and the trigger guard. Anybody that owns a Glock needs to take it in for an internal parts polish! The trigger pull was fast and crisp, the slide functioned smooth as silk with no resistance. They swapped out sights, mag release and slide release. The gun felt better than a competition pistol I own. I couldn’t tell they worked the trigger guard until I held the stock one next to it. Night and day, they took all the cheap out of the Glock production line.
I had an FNX45 with a know warranty issue that caused the mags not to drop properly. I took it to them and they fixed it. They also polished my magazines to make them fly out. I leave these mags in Farm Trucks and was worried they would rust. The folks here cerakoted them for free to appease my gripe. I’m not suggesting you should be a pain in the ass customer, just because they’re nice. I’m explaining that they go above and beyond to make right, even if it costs them. Absolutely top notch service!!
Great folks, very knowledgeable and always super friendly! If you looking for custom knives this is definitely a place to visit. I picked up some fun stuff that got delivered there. Last time the showed my kids on how they make their leather knife holder…

Phenomenal service and experience they went above and beyond getting the tool for my ruger precision rifle, installing the barrel, getting the threads fixed and exceptional experience and fun to talk to. Great place to do business and couldn’t be happier with how fast the turnaround was. They also are working on a new website and stuff in case have issues calling or reaching out the emails and contact page still work.

Assemble your AR! We’ve got the tools and the know-how, let us take care of the small stuff, so you can focus on focusing on what matters most: rounds down range, and time training with your kit. Depending on the individual parts, this costs anywhere from 1-3 hours of bench time to complete, including test fire and basic zero. Be sure to bring some non reloaded ammo!
Build Type 2
Custom Rifle. You tell us what you want, we make it happen. We build up a custom design for you given your requirements (price, range, caliber, etc) and we make it happen. No more worrying about if wasting money on parts only to find out they aren’t compatible. This is also the best time to get a cerakote job done as well, so we’ll throw in a discounted cerakote job as well.
Build Type 3
We do it all, but then some. Why stop at ARs when we can do more? Custom mile long bolt rifles? We’ve got you. Your very own AK from scratch? We’ve got you. The sky is the limit. Reach out for more details.

RENTAL GUNS
Rental Events & Private Bookings
We host rental events every few months. In between those months, people are more than welcome to request a private rental.
Available Firearms
We have multiple rentals available, and more on the way. Currently, we have a Barrett 50 cal, M4, MP5, and a STEN.
Rental Pricing & Requirements
$50 for the 50, $100 for intermediate cartridges (5.56, 7.62x39) , $60 for pistol cartridges. Sign a waiver, and get off to the range.
